Island of Rab !!!

Located in the middle of the kvarner archipel and surrounded by the Islands of Krk, Cres and Rab, the island of Rab separates the nothern and middle part of the Adria.

To the direction nothwest-southeast the Island is 22 km long and from the bay "Sorinj" in the northwest to the bay "Glavina" in the southeast only 11 km wide.

The island is seperated from the continent by the Velebitian Canal and is on the southeastern part only 1800 mtres. from the village Jablanac on the coast away. From the ferry port Jablanac there is a fast ferry line to the village of Mišnjak on the island of Rab. Mišnjak is 15-20 minutes drive from the center of Rab. In summer, there is another ferry line to the island of Rab, from the village of Baška, situated on the island of Krk. That ferry boat goes to the village of Lopar on the island of Rab. Lopar is cca 20 minutes drive from Rab.

Our apartments are 30 minutes walk from the center of Rab, or 10 minutes drive in the Kampor direction.

Kampor !!!

Kampor is located in the north-west of the island. With its two large bays St. Euphemia and the bay of Kampor as well as many smaller ones on the Kalifront peninsula, with its bungalows and hotels in Suha Punta, apartments and board and lodging houses is represents a big tourist potential. At the bottom of the St. Euphemia bay a franciscan monastery is situated.

It has a museum, a gallery with the paintings by Testen, a library with valuable old chronicles. Its influence on this part of the island has been present for centuries.
